Recording Is Underway
After a heavy weekend for all the Towers, it gives me great pleasure to say we are up and running with a new E.P.

Despite drinking away the hours in seperate parts of London, we all got together for a few hours on Saturday night and with a helping shove in the right direction from Karim have managed to get most parts down for F*ck You Buddy.

We've still got a little way to go (some vocal, samples and other general harmonic niceness)but with a bit of luck we should have it all done in time for the forthcoming gig @ 93 Feet East. We managed to get some skeletal framework down for Atoms too, and that should be finished in the non too distant future n' all.

So, if you wann hear what these tunes will sound like recorded via our own shakey hands then come along to 93 Feet where there will be CD's a plenty.

Peace // G

Greetings to All
Good evening everyone..

This is the first of what we hope to be an informative & useful mode of contact for all interested in the goings on of the Towers camp.

The week has been somewhat of a strange one - having to cancel a gig @ the Brixton Jamm to due family matters was not how we would wish to begin, but life has a habit of taking us all by surprise sometimes.

First of all, I apologise for the short notice cancellation, but can promise that the Towers have not been knocked by the recent sad news - we are looking forward to seeing you all upon our return to 93 Feet East (a favourite venue) & we are playing with some great bands, particularly the Citadels. It'll be great to share a stage with them - a name I am sure you'll be hearing more of in the none too distant future.

So if you're free - come one, come all - the evening is sure not to dissapoint.

Lastly, after some heated drunken deliberation we have decided that we are going to begin recording some of our new live tunes. Chiefly F*ck You Buddy and Atoms for now, but hopefully soon an uptempo reworking of old favourite The Hive and hopefully a new tune in 13 based on the book Flat Earth News.

A new year promises so much for everyone who is willing to grab the empty page readily and we aim to do just that - keep your eyes and ears peeled.

Lastly - there is a William Burroughs/Bryon Gysin exhibition @ the Royal Academy of Arts running until January 19th. To the uninitiated it will give a little insight into some of the influences that we hold dear, particularly our approach to writing. And the short film experiment the aforementioned made together is also playing, which is where the inspiration for where our name derives from. It wont really inform as to why we're drawn to the title - but they are all pieces to the puzzle, eh?

Peace // G
